In the Library section, users have the flexibility to craft their own unique sounds by utilizing their device's microphone or by adding custom sounds through iTunes file sharing.

Within Annoydio, users have the capability to manipulate sounds extensively. This includes altering frequencies, playing sounds in reverse, setting loops, and incorporating effects like distortion and delay. Moreover, users can fine-tune parameters such as attack, decay, sustain, and release for a more customized experience.

For enhanced versatility, Annoydio supports connectivity with MIDI keyboards for playing sounds with full polyphony. The iPad version even includes a convenient popup keyboard feature. Additionally, Annoydio seamlessly integrates with Inter-App Audio as both a sound module and MIDI device, allowing users to use it as an instrument to enhance music creation in various applications such as GarageBand.
